Vehicle Details
This 'R129' Mercedes-Benz 500 SL is a beautifully preserved, low mileage example of the well-equipped and sophisticated roadster.
It is equipped with Mercedes' 32-valve M119 5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
Delivered to Japan and first registered in 1992, the Mercedes is understood to have had just four owners from new, and is now registered in NSW, Australia.
Equipment and features
It is finished in the original Blue-Black Metallic paintwork with gray lower body, over a black leather interior with walnut accents
Factory equipment includes electrically adjustable and heated front seats with three-position memory, climate control, cruise control, and headlight wipers.
The Mercedes rides on desirable 18-inch five-spoke AMG 'monoblock' alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook tires.
An aftermarket Alpine head unit with Bluetooth has been installed.
Otherwise, the car is original and unmodified throughout.
It's accompanied by service receipts from 2017 onwards, an e-certificate confirming odometer verification, tool kit, factory spare wheel, warning triangle and one key.
